Today we left Butte for the drive to Missoula which is halfway to Kalispell and GLACIER NATIONAL PARK!!! Tomorrow, yea!!!

So today is mostly about BARNS - there were so many along the road that I was clicking madly...well what else is new.  After getting here it rained for awhile and we spoke with a lady that just came from Glacier and it has been raining up there.  I'm hoping that they have had enough rain in the last week, and we may just luck out with some great weather, although I heard it is still COLD up there!  Oh, well.  I'm hoping for some fantastic photos coming your way!!!  We will be there for a whole week, so we should get some good weather!

Along the route I watched an Osprey with a fish land on her nest and feed the baby!

Also, along the route this small camper over a pick up truck had a sign on the back that was great.  It read:  "Past Tents"...clever!

Missoula is a college town and the last shot is the only one I took of the city.  Unfortunately, we had to do a little mild RV maintenance and do some shopping and by then it was late and still raining, so we must push on...

I'm excited for all the excitement that lies ahead in the next 71 days when we end the Alaska Trip.  Some of you have heard that Calgary had a horrendous flood that pretty much paralyzed the city.  We have been in touch with the "Wagon Masters" of our trip and they have spoken with the officials up there and they will do all that they can to make sure that the Calgary Stampede goes on.  Well, that will remain to be seen, I guess...fingers crossed!!!

Wow, lot of barns! You must have a plan for all the barn pictures you have taken.

We spent a week in Glacier -- one of our favorite trips EVER. Spent a few days at Apgar Village: eat at Eddie's! Also, look into the Red Bus Tours, which may sound goofy but are really great and a wonderful way to see the Going To The Sun Road without having to concentrate on driving it. Also spent a few days at north side (Many Glacier Hotel) which is where we saw the highest concentration of bears. Invest in bear spray if you plan to hike as we did. Glacier is tremendous! We are enjoying your updates - thanks for sharing them. B&C
