Betsy Dougert has backpacked across five continents, both solo and with friends. While she is definitely a planner, she is equally willing to toss her plans out of the airplane window when she spots a fun opportunity. This philosophy has led her to fishing with the Rapa Nui people on Easter Island, training endangered Skyrian horses in Greece and clubbing with expats in Ho Chi Minh City. Like J.R.R.
