I am a Pisces and have daydreamed about traveling and adventure since I can remember.  Indiana Jones was my childhood role model.  I have been told that I am only a dreamer and will never do any of my fantasized adventures.  Then one day I got laid off and decided it was now or never and bought a plane ticket to New Zealand.  That experience was the best of my life and I met many amazing people.  For the majority of these fellow travelers, New Zealand was not their first and last stop.  They were traveling many countries independently and it was really the first time that I realized people really do travel the world and its not just a pipe dream.  I envied them and wondered why I couldn't do the same.  I asked them loads of questions about where they went, how, and why and took lots of mental notes.  Primarily that was the inspiration for this Asian experience, other than Thailand I never really imagined going anywhere on this side of the World. I got back from my amazing NZ and Hawaii experience with even more of a travel bug.  Lucky for me, Greg also got laid off and had finances available and the willingness to take on this adventure with me.
