About Peteandelaine
Pete and I are taking off for just over 6 months travelling around the world.
Pete retired last summer and I've been lucky enough to be granted unpaid leave from my job - Thank you to Chris!
Also a big THANK YOU to the two relatives who are house-sitting while we are travelling.
Because we are away for quite awhile I was going to write a diary as my permanent record of our travels, but it was suggested to me about recording our trip on a travel blog.
Initially I was abit sceptical as anyone can access the blog, but I soon got over that and if family and friends want to access the blog and add comments, they can.
Not long to go - leave home 14/11/11 and fly to Rio de Janierio 15/11/11.
