Born in the North of England, in a small town called Worksop then educated in the middle of the country (Birmingham) I have a degree in marketing, advertising and pr.
I spent 2 years working in London and realised I needed adventure!
Although I have flown before I have somehow developed a fear of flying but an increased passion for traveling. I decided that the adventure would involve me traveling the world without taking one flight, seeing everything in between.
I started small with a coach to Ireland and a train to Scotland, then inter-railed around Europe for a month ticking off 20 cites.
I then sailed to America and began the best trip of my life, visiting 22 US cities and Tijuana in Mexico. Then I tackled Canada and traveled from Vancouver to Toronto stopping in Jasper and Winnipeg, here i stayed for 5 months with visits to Montreal and Niagara falls.
Now it's back to England to gain some more PR experience and save for the next part of my grounded adventure - Asia and Australia.
