So! We've thrown in the apartment (don't worry, it's rented) and negotiated unpaid leave (did someone say recession?) and we're off to travel the world for six months! Staying in cheapo hostels one night and £700-a-night luxury the next, our trip is not a little unusual. Jammy dodgers that we are, we managed to win a travel competition that will cover our flights and provide luxury hotels en route. In between living it up in 5-star resorts, however, we'll be reminded we're no better than we should be by slumming it in Orwellian-type boarding houses. And, despite our pledge to keep a wide birth of interwebbing enroute, friends, colleagues and family have insisted we keep a blog... so here tis! Forgive lack of postings or bad writing - the next six months will hopefully see us cultivating lazy, irresponsible natures which we'll work tirelessly not to negate. Missing you already! x
