I live in a beautiful coastal town in South Africa called Mtunzini. I have a husband, Kevin who always travel with me and two sons, Kevin and Werner, and they sometimes go with.
I love traveling and I do the planning for all our trips. Booking flights and hostels and train tickets and what not...When travelling in Africa we normally use a 4x4 to get to those magnificent places, when traveling overseas we tend to back pack and to use local transport.
I love photography and therefore I am always photographing and recording the trips. (and that since 1992!)
I am an ex teacher and taught both boys at some stage. I studied Zoology and Botany at University and love birding and finding wildlife. I also love gardening, and even designed a few gardens.
People and the way that they live interest me and I use the photos I took on trips in my paintings. My main topic as an artist at the moment is to capture facial expressions,
