The most amazing moment in my life so far

watching a giant leatherback turtle lay eggs. At 3 am, we stood on the beach with our children and by moonlight we stood close enough to touch her, then 70-100 eggs fell from her body into a hole about a foot deep that she had just dug in the sand.
