Boomeranghome's Traveler Profile

I grew up in Perth, Western Australia.  One of the most isolated cities in the world.  And we kinda like it that way. My name is an aboriginal word meaning boomerang.  I have had more nicknames than anyone I know.  I will share SOME with you.  Bug, KJ, Kyles, Ky, Kyles Styles, Woodduck, Ducky, Ducksta, Spud, H..  The others will not be mentioned. I am pretty much in to everything and anything and like to give new things a shot.  There are a few that I am slightly more fond of. I really love the outdoors.  The ocean is my favourite place.  Whether it be watching the sun set, frolicking along the shores, going for short slow strolls in the sunset, running the dogs, catching some waves or simply squishing the sand between the toes, chatting and sucking in the fresh salty air. I also love swimming, water sports, jet skiing with friends, cycling, hiking, horse riding, scuba diving, sports, shopping, partying, talking with people I connect with,  laughing and stuffing around, drinking, road trips, sight seeing, exploring and travelling, bbq's, drinks and nibbles. I have a pretty cool life and have seen a lot of the world.  I like to photograph the cool things I see.  So I will call photography one of my hobbies.  Particularly wildlife, underwater and landscapes.  I am still best friends with my half or dozen or so best friends from high school.  Add to that the collection of misfits I have picked up along the way and I have my mob to roll with.   No matter where we are my friends will always be the ones making the most noise and laughing the most.  When I do chill in front of the telly my favourite shows include Survivor, Family Guy, Friends, Kath and Kim, All Saints. My favourite grub is seafood, chicken, chips, salad, fruit, veges, smoothies, mud cake, chocolate mousse, home made taste plates accompanied by wine, Japanese, Thai, Indian and Mexican. Fave colour is green then yellow.  Not many things frighten me as I am quite hard core.  But if I had to list a few.  The dark, car crashes, dead things, my imagination, my nightmares, emus and mice (only the ones that run around wild in your house). Love music.  Most styles. I have studied Environmental Science, Tourism and Hospitality. My favourite books are River God by Wilber Smith and Jessica by Bryce Courtney.  My families 'Shack' in Mandurah is my favourite place to holiday.  Many fond memories from my childhood to now.
