Your feedback shapes TravelPod’s future

We’ve had some great feedback about the new interface over the last month and we just wanted to recap some of the changes we’ve made in response.

Your feedback and input is greatly appreciated and really important for making TravelPod the best it can be. So we thank you all for sharing your ideas with us and taking the time to report bugs.

Here’s a list of the changes we made because of your feedback:

  • Reordering entries is now as simple as dragging and dropping them on your List of Entries
  • Added city pins to compliment the highlighted countries on the Travel Map on the Dashboard
  • Vastly increased the number of cities available in our database from 65,000 to 2,000,000!
  • Re-added the “Upload to the end of your album” option
  • The List of Entries now remembers the options you set
  • A new and improved Edit Entry Light page that detects when you’re on a slow computer
  • Cleaned up a lot of little bugs thanks to your reports! Thanks!

    One of the things I’d like to see is the ability to upload GPS data for the mapping. I do this on my reworked blog site at ridewithjoe.com using instamapper.com and my blackberry. There are many ways to do this but not having the ability is what prompted me to move my blog to my own site.

    I especially love the new Update Express feature! But keep up the good work, guys, all the changes you’ve made are real improvements!

    Hi there,

    I am using the blog for the first time and it is brilliant – really easy to do and all my friends are loving it. I have my own laptop so uploading photos is easy for me. I have one query – how do I edit the title of the blog as I made a spell error and as I will be travelling for 6 months it is going to annoy me

    To change your title:

    Go to http://www.travelpod.com/dashboard
    Beside the blog you want to edit click “Blog settings”
    The title is the first box labeled “Title”
