TravelPod bloggers were on the edge of their seats last night, while the votes in the American election were being counted.
Cali has been a frantic Obama supporter since the beginning of the campaign. Even though she’s currently traveling in Germany, she still has a firm opinion on the new president. She posts a couple of photos of a rally she attended back in January.

Robertandtanja are currently in Kenya. They write about the celebrations taking place in Nairobi since Obama won the election.
Kenyans seem to be almost more interested in the outcome in the States than in their own political scene. The papers have been full of stories about Obama and his Kenyan family, there is “Obama the Musical” and now that he has won the celebrations are going on in the whole country.
Nscampbell3 was in Los Angeles, at the hotel where a giant Obama party was held. He had some troubles getting into his own room, all the roads were shut down around the perimeter, but he still managed to shoot some photos from the roof, paparazzi style.
